Slowly but surely I will make my way through the comic books, starting with the ones most relevant to my classes. I want to collect links to Wikipedia articles and other online resources, images, videos, anything I can find to supplement the book and help connect one story to another. thanks to the great support of Stacy Zemke in the University of Oklahoma Libraries, there will also be a collection on reserve in Bizzell Library so that students in my classes will be able to read ACK comics for my Indian Epics class!Īnd that is the reason for this blog: I need an online space where I can prepare the Reading Guides to go with the books. As I type this post, the comic books - all 33 pounds of them - are on their way from Mumbai, India, to Timberlake, NC USA.Įven better. Yes!!! That means 315 titles plus 10 special issues.
